A member asked:

Does nortrriptyline cause hot flushes ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: In a couple of ways that i can think of. First, nortriptyline (which i think is an excellent medication for certain conditions), may interfere with a person's ability to sweat. That could cause over heating. Secondly, nti can cause a person to have a drop in blood pressure after standing up too quickly. I can see how someone could become flushed when that occurs. Ask your dr who rxed it.
