No regular ovulation: The periods are not normal periods, or menses, which occur about 13-14 days after you ovulate. Normal periods do not last more than 7 days. The "periods" you are having are from buildup of lining inside your uterus, which is normalyl shed every four weeks if you ovulate regularly. When you miss your period, that means you did not ovulate.
