Sexually active?: If you are sexually active and have not used protection, you could be pregnant. First step is to take a pregnancy test. If the test is negative, and you have not had unprotected sex recently ( in the last 10 days), don't worry about it. There are times where women will have an abnormal period. Stress plays a factor. No evaluation is needed until you have had three consecutive abnormal cycle.
