Hematoma: It's a hematoma and it's not normal, but it most likely isnt worrisome either. Ice it, elevate it, and put an ace wrap on it. Go to the er if you develop tingling, coolness, or pain in the hand/fingers as this can mean the pressure has built up too much(compartment syndrome) and is cutting off the blood supply down from the site.
