Is it true that marijuana can cause high cholesterol?

Maybe indirectly: Smoking marijuana can lead to food cravings in some people. Getting "the munchies" (food cravings) from the marijuana itself or from peer pressure (listening to other smokers who talk about their munchies) can lead to eating more chips, fries, pizza, ice cream, etc..., which can lead to increased LDL cholesterol (the "bad" cholesterol that builds plaques to from blockages in arteries).
