Moisturize it: Minimize excessive skin scrubbing and avoid use of drying soaps etc... Avoid hot showers/baths. Moisturize skin after shower/bath and as needed through out the day/night. Aquaphor is a good moisturizer. Some meds can cause dry skin, so is thyroid diseases, eczema/psoriasis etc...Consult doc. Goid luck.

Not sure about foods: But- i would humidify the air at home some if it is dry (especially wintertime and use good moisturizers when the skin is wet after bathing. This needs to be done regularly unless you have a severe skin condition that should be evaluated.
