Low calcium: The muscles of the inner thigh are called the adductors muscles composed by 3 muscles plus the gracilis, usually cramps are due to hyperexcitability of the nerves that stimulate the muscles. The reasons are multiple:low electrolytes, dehydrationetc. In pregnancy are usually due to low calcium and magnesium and some times potasium.Make sure you consume those supplements in your diet.

Pregnant at 41?: First, congratulations on being able to conceive. As you might know, there are risks to being pregnant over 40 (i know them well as a midlife mom myself). One sadly is miscarriage of a fetus (normal or abnormal chromosomes). Cramping can occur in any pregnancy, but at 41 a woman should report things that are unusual to her OB or mfm doctor. Sometimes problems can be avoided.
