Dr. John Obi answered

Genetics?: There is a condition called erhler danlso sydrome where individuals can have hyper-extensible joints and unusually stretchy skin. This condition may be assoicated with some wound healing issues and you should consult your physician to dtermine if you have this condition.

Maybe genetics: There are variations of "normal" skin and joint laxity, but there are also genetic conditions such as ehlers-danlos syndrome and cutis laxa which have the characteristics you mention. Ask your doctor the next time you see him/her. There may be other things to be aware of if you have one of these conditions.
