Can a child be harmed by getting dizzy or nauseous on a fair ride?

No: A child who gets dizzy or nauseous on a fair ride is most likely experiencing motion sickness. This is not uncommon, and is seen frequently on rides that spin, or accelerate quickly. I would avoid rides that make your child sick. There will not be any permanent harm from these rides, just short term symptoms that will go away.
