Take note: If your braces are "breaking" once a month, just consider what you are eating or doing that is causing this to happen. It can only benefit you to be very careful to eat only the right foods and to really care for your teeth. Having a loose bracket once a month can really slow your treatment down, which i know you don't want to happen! :) good luck!

Unusal : That sounds like an unusual amount of breakage. Ask your dentist what they attribute this to.

Check our diet: Most braces breakage is caused by hard, sticky, or chewy foods. Sometimes breakage is caused by destructive habits, sometimes by the location of the braces on the teeth, and sometimes by playing contact sports and not wearing a special orthodontic mouthguard. Ask your orthodontist for help.

Change something: Broken braces once a month is unusual and usually related to your eating habits. Your orthodontic office has reviewed "the food list " with you. Foods on that list are prone to damaging your braces which leads to longer treatment time and possible increased fees. Be careful of what you are eating. Occasionally the arrangement of teeth will conflict with your braces, ask your orthodontist.
