Bells Palsy Facial N: It is facial palsy caused by dysfunction of 7th cranial nerve called facial nerve.It is caused by an inflammation of facial nerve which in turn causes swelling of the facial nerve and causes the assymetry of face due to inability to controlfacial muscles on affected side other conditions that can cause facial palsy are lymes disease, brain tumour and stroke and that is not called bells palsy.
