No: Adipex or Phentermine is a synthetic stimulant, which has some similar characteristics to amphetamines, but is chemically unrelated to it. Stimulation with it is relatively minimal, while appetite suppression is greater. However, in high doses and in sensitive individuals, it can produce stimulation, increased blood pressure and pulse similar to amphetamines.
