Yes, not untied...: A big misconception with patients is that tubes are simply "untied". The procedure actually cuts out the scarred or blocked portion, the remaining edges are microsurgically connected & a good success rate is only > 70%. You need at least 3 cm of viable tube to work with and remember, any future pregnancies have to be seen early d/t ectopic risks (tubal pregnancies). Take good care of yourself.
