Allergy to mint: Yes you can be allergic to mint. You can be allergic to anything that has molecules big enough to bind to the reactive site on an antigen-presenting cell and capable of stimulating antibody production. Just sneezing when you eat peppermints is not a definite sign of allergy, though. Just as hot sauce opens your nasal passages, peppermint stimulates the nose chemically.
