A member asked:

Is it normal to still lactate two years after giving birth? or does that mean that i am pregnant again?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: If you are still breastfeeding its very possible to still be lactating. If your breast started to leak and you are not breastfeeding it could be a medication side effect or endocrine (hormone) problem. If you are not breastfeeding an infant, you need to contact your doctor for an exam and possible testing. As for being pregnant, most women do not lactate while pregnant.
