I get horrible migraines a few times a year but can't get them to stop. what do i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Triptans: There are many triptan meds which could potentially stop headaches if used in the first hour or so of the headache. There are pills to swallow, pills to dissolve in the mouth, nasal sprays, and even injectables. Not all triptans help all people, but it is worthwhile to try at least 2 or 3 variations if the initial fails.
