Depends: Cardizem is a good rate controling agent and usually a fairly mild BP medication. Unfortunately untill you try it wont really know. Would start at low dose and work up to higher doses as tolerated. If you feel light headed or dizzy on the medication stop it and notify your doctor so they can make a change.
