Possible: Colorblindness is often inherited and is usually related to genes on the x chromosome. Males are more likely to be effected because they have only one x chromosome so anything wrong there will show up. Girls have two x chromosomes so can cover a problem if only one is affected about 8% of males have some kind of colorblindness, but only 1% or less of females.
