How effectively can we treat cancer now?

Inconsistent: Currently, our ability to treat cancer depends upon the type of cancer and it's stage. Most treatment regimens are based upon population studies, knowing that a certain % of patients will respond to "treatment x vs. Y". Of course, this works great for those that respond but not so well for others. Future rx will focus on individualized therapies based upon the unique features of the ca treated.
