Cant say: It is not unsual at all to haver some spotting before your scheduled normal cycle. This is called breakthrough bleed if on birth control, or intermenstrual spotting. If you are concerned about pregnancy, most advise that youawait at least one week after a late cycle to check a home test, testing too early may return falsely negative. There are many factots that may cause you to spot or alter cycle.

Not necessarely: You may want to wait few days more. Then check a pregnancy test if a normal full period does not occur.
