Severe form of CP: The most severe variant of CP often associated with moderate ->severe mental deficiency. It denotes diffuse malformation or damage to the brain. Severe limb spasticity precludes ambulation. Speech and swallowing difficultties may require a feeding tube. Seizures are at times difficult to control requiring multiple medications. Most are totally dependent.
