What are the main hydrocele operations?

Bottle or Lord ops.: For adult hydroceles. Both operations are performed through the scrotum. Excess hydrocele sac is excised with bottle procedure and remaining sac is everted and sutured together behind the testis. Hydrocele is incised and rolled up & sutured on either side of testis with lord procedure. Infant & child hydroceles are corrected through the groin & patent communication, .If present, is divided.
