Previous exposure: Men develop their idea of attractivenes from condition during their upbringing. A common source is the image of mom imprinted upon their brains. There are strong influences in classmates, public depictions in media especially tv and of course their own personal appeal to women which might limit their choice. Personality, intelligence as well.Almost everyone, strongly motivated, can find a mate.
