A member asked:

Do all hospitals offer dna testing and is it expensive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Seldom on site: Most general hospitals do not operate labs with the sophisticated equipment needed to do specific dna testing. If the issue comes up, generally they can collect a specimen & send it out to a specialty lab for analysis. Some of the major lab chains have office sites where they will obtain specimens for this service. Check with your dr for the local process.
