Can a chiropractor correct curvature of the spine?

No: If you are speaking of scoliosis or structural kyphosis, there are no studies to show that chiropractic manipulations can correct these conditions.

No: A chiropractor can offer relief for back pain. But the curve is a structural deformity that can only be corrected surgically. However, everyone does not need surgical correction. See a spine surgeon for an evaluation before continuing with a chiropractor.

Depends: If the curvature is due to a disc herniation or muscle spasm, chiropractic treatment may help to alleviate the pain resolving this functional or non structural scoliosis. For all other types of scoliosis, the answer is no.
