Not long: Most infected people have positive antibody tests within 3-4 weeks of infection. It takes anywhere from 20 minutes to a few days to get the results back, depending on whether you use a rapid test or a test done in a lab. The new 4th generation antibody/antigen test shortens the "window period" by about 5 days.
