Shouldn't: All antibiotics in the "beta-lactam" group that includes pennicillin, amoxicillin, Ampicillin and the cephlosporins like Cephalexin are excreted(peed out) more rapidly after alcohol-thus lessening their effective time in your body.

Keflex: I would not recommend that, due to excess load on the liver.

Don't: Better to not mix antibiotics and alcohol!

Yes: You can drink alcohol while taking keflex/cephalexin but do it in moderation at most. If you have a significant infection it would be best to abstain until its better.

Drug interactions: Drug interaction checker showed no significant interactions between Cephalexin and alcohol. Ask your prescriber it there are any recommended restrictions based on the condition being treated.
