Appropriate meds: Sinus impaction is a term which probably means an inflammatory condition in the paranasal sinuses. This could be either a viral or bacterial infection. Appropriate medications would include an otc nasal spray for not more than 3 days and an oral decongestant. I would strongly advise consulting an ENT physician.

Medics and surgery: Usually sinus problems are treated first with medication. If these do not completely resolve your symptoms, surgery is often the next step. ENT and allergist physicians can be very helpful as well as your primary care physician.
