For how long does gum stay in your system after you swallow it?

Several days: Chewing gum is excreted from your bowels like any other food. Depending on your rate of excretion that could be 1 to 3 days. Chewing gum is not digestible so it is excreted in the same form as swallowed. Chewing gum is made from a latex-like product. It is possible, but not likely, that if you swollowed enough gum it could form a stone like formation (enterolith) in your intestine.

Depends: The length of time the gum remains in your digestive tract depends on you and your bowel movements. If you have frequent bowel movements the gum will likely be excreted fairly quickly.
