Having a psoriasis flare up. what can help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Topical steroids or: Probably the easiest thing to do is to get some prescription steroid to help with the inflammation and itching. There are other nonsteroidal topicals as well, but u will likely get most rapid relief with a potent steroid. If psoriasis is severe or widespread, oral or injectable meds maybe needed. Keep the areas moist with skin emollient until seen by doc. Good luck.
