Why is it a bit hard to breathe in pregnancy?

Size and chemistry: Both the baby pushing on your diaphragm as well as the hormonal changes in pregnancy can make you feel short of breath. But, you need to be checked to rule out a blood clot in your lungs right away to be sure it isn't anything more serious. Good luck.
