At least 2yr: After completion of a pre-exposure vaccine series, the protective antibody level lasts for at least 2 years. Boosters are only recommended if a serum titer has dropped. People with continuous exposure are advised to have titers done every 6 mo while those with occasional exposure should be tested every 2 yrs.
