A member asked:

What is photophobia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Light sensitivity: Photophobia is the technical term for light sensitivity above the normal response to a change in light intensity. People with this experience discomfort even with low light intensity that would bother no one else. There are a number of causes including breakdown of the surface (cornea) of the eye and retinal inflammations. See your ophthalmologist if you have this symptom.
