What is the role of copper toxicity in causing amblyopia?

Let explian: In earlier stages of copper toxicity, the excess copper affects many systems in the body including the reproductive system, glandular system, immune system, and nervous system. In the nervous system, high levels of copper produce an abundance of neurotransmitters like Dopamine and epinephrine. These are stimulants, which cause a mass firing of neurons in the portions of the brain

Very Rare: This scenario is uncommon. Most amblyopia cases develop due to refractive errors (need for prescription glasses), misalignments, obstructions in vision (any cause early on for one eye not to have as clear a view as the fellow eye) or developmental differences between the two eyes. If copper toxicity has effected the clarity of the cornea or the function of the retina then amblyopia could follow.
