Can signs of pregnancy occur even before a missed period?

No.: The first positive urine pregnancy test (upt) occurs within hours/days of the implantation of the fertilized egg and may be positive by the first day after your missed period. Given that pregnancy signs and symptoms develop as a result of pregnancy hormones detected by the upt, you can appreciate why it is not possible to have anything detectable before a missed period.
