No...: Asthma is not curable. But, most asthmatics can be rendered symptom-free between exacerbations with therapy. Asthma treatment includes bronchodilator and steroid inhalers. Other treatments depend on symptoms present so see your doctor if you have ongoing symptoms despite initial treatment. If you smoke, smoking cessation is necessary to decrease airway inflammation!
