How do i know if stiffness is a blood clot?

Duplex ultrasound : The best way to rule out deep system or superficial clots in the legs is a duplex ultrasound exam. Accurate diagnosis and correct early treatment to avoid serious possible complications. Clots in pelvis or chest will often require additional tests like mrv or venograms. As deeper clots or larger superficial clots near junctions may travel to lungs , early DX & treatment is crucial.

Ultrasound: An ultrasound is the best test to rule out a blood clot. Symptoms of a blood clot can vary, but one clue is that it usually involves only one leg at a time. So if something seems wrong about one leg compared to the other, then see your doctor!
