Tick Bites: Symptoms of tick bites vary quite widely. The ticks secrete a toxin which virtually numbs the site, making it very difficult to even tell if a tick bite has happened, or is happening. If a tick can be spotted, it should be removed by your doctor or other medical provider, gently, with a forceps, so that the head and mouth parts are extracted as well. See a doctor for more information.
