Joint Fracture?: If the fracture in a toe extends into the joint there could be some joint stiffness for several months. This could be seen in most cases if the toe was x-rayed. If this is not very severe and the alignment is good this could improve over time and the motion could increase gradually although you could experience some residual arthritis. If this "intra-articular" break is severe then surgery next.

See doc : For x-ray evaluation. Possibly didn't heal properly. If swollen can prevent bending as well.
