Probably diet.: A change in diet often helps any digestive condition. More fiber helps keep a person "regular" and would likely alleviate symptoms of gas in the gut. Stool softeners and laxatives also make a difference. Serotonin agonists, like tegaserod (zelnorm) help constipation, but it has side effects like heart problems. Things like stress relief and peppermint oil can also help as well as exercise.
