Get it treated: The basic problem with recurrent sinusitis is swelling of the sinus tissues related to allergy/viral infection and/or an anatomic issue which pre-disposes to recurrent infections. Either one of these needs to be evaluated to "get rid of sinusitis." if you have chronic sinusitis, it may because an acute infection was not treated properly. Best to be seen by your local ent.

Antibiotics: Normal treatment of a sinus infection is a 7 day course of antibiotics, decongestants and drinking plenty of fluids. Nasal inhalation of steam and salt water irrigations can help alot as well.
