Primary focal: For mild primary focal (axillary) hyperhidrosis is: otc antiperspirants containing low dose metal salt (usually aluminum). For mild to moderate & unresponsive cases: rx strength 20% alcl in ethanol (drysol) or 6.25% aluminum tetrachloride (xerac) + baking soda applied next am can be tried. Topical Glycopyrrolate available through compounding pharmacies is another option.
