Yes: Yes it’s a Controlled Substance and you need A sleep disorder called Narcolepsy to have it prescribed. I think usually Neurologists, Psychiatrists and Sleep Disorders can Prescribe it. Your MD maybe can prescribe Zyrtem for you if “off label” it wont be covered by PBS and you will pay the high full cost.
