Change habits: It is not really healthy to lose weight too fast. The goal is to re-establish eating and exercise behaviors so that you will lose steadily and can maintain the lowered weight in the future. If your bf likes you now overweight, than he will appreciate a steady loss and of course is currently your bf because he is attracted to you.
