A member asked:

Can a non properly developed ear bed causing ear ringing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: Ear ringing is now thought to be due to spontaneous electrical discharge from the medial aspect of the temporal lobe of the brain. It may or may not be associated with a hearing loss. What is an "ear bed"? Please explain so a more scientific answer can be given to you. In general, in the absence of documented ear disease, there is no objective or acceptable therapy for ringing in the ear.
