Maybe not: Early in the pregnancy, you the embryo buries itself into the uterine lining called the endometrium. This process can cause spotting which is harmless. Unfortunately, early miscarriages also cause spotting which usually gets very heavy and crampy. There is nothing that can be done this early. Nature gets rid of embryos that have problems. Call your doc, try not to worry. Good luck.

Possibly: Though a small amount of blood could mean many things. Keep calm and monitor your symptoms. If you have more bleeding go to an er.
