Yes...: Tramadol is a "broad spectrum analgesic". It works in multiple ways. One way is blocking nmda receptors (google this). In some people, this can trigger psychological reactions, which are different between each us. Increasing the dose slowly can sometimes minimize this. It is not permanent.
