A member asked:

What does an obgyn do and about how much do they delegate to nurses?

Dr. Jumnah Thanapathy answered

Specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Depends: If it is a pa/np they can delegate almost everything whilst they are the supervising physician. The nurses can do colposcopies, biopsies, scans etc. Obviously, major surgical procedures are done by the md.
