My small daughter is vomiting and has diarrhea, she was diagnosed with a possible bacterial infection but they didn't test it?

Possible but ?able: First of all, most of acute cases of vomiting and diarrhea are caused by viral infections. Since no test (culture) was done, the diagnosis of bacterial infection was not substantiated.
