I just started seeing spots all of a sudden. what could cause this?

More info needed: Could be a lot of things. If they shimmer, move around and you get a headache might be migraine. If it's just one eye go get checked now particularly if the spots seem to flash. If it reminds you of a bug flying around could be a harmless "floater." i'm assuming these are spots before your eyes and not spots like a rash.
